Devine Creation, Evolution, Big Bang?

What are your beliefs? How did we all get here? Did we arrive by Devine Creation, Evolution, or a Big Bang? Maybe you believe some sort of mix or combination? Some people just cop out and call themselves agnostics. They don’t even want to think about it. Some unbelievers will go to extremes in order to prove there is no God. I know, because I was one of them. I spent incredible amounts of time looking for and reading scientific articles that offered evidence purporting to disprove the possibility of Devine creation and therefore prove there was no God.

There is plenty of scientific evidence out there that scientists have compiled, some spending much of their lives and hard-earned education devoted to proving the Theory of Evolution. In the 60’s, when I was in high school, evolution was being taught as the accepted explanation of how man was created. Then came The Big Bang theory and they even made a television sitcom by the same name.

Why Not Believe In Devine Creation?

Why did I want to disprove God? Probably the same reason as most unbelievers. If there is no Devine Creation and no God, that means “man” is in charge. This lets me be in charge of my life and then I answer to no one for my sins. In fact, nothing is considered sin, only “law”. As long as I don’t break “the law” anything and everything I do is ok.

Sometimes unbelievers ask the question, “well, who created God?” It’s one of those “gotcha” questions submitted to Christians. Speaking as a relatively new Christian I would answer, ” my God exists in all time as we know it”. “Before creation there was no time. God is not limited by time”. It’s beyond our understanding and just like the Bible says: God is the Alpha and the Omega.

If you’ve not been to a creation museum, it’s really very interesting and eye opening. Did you know that we have one nearby? I’ve been twice. It’s just north of Branson, Mo.

The Bible Is History, Not Theory

Time and time again, skeptics and critics have alleged that major nations and individuals featured in the Bible never existed! But they have been embarrassed by evidence proving them wrong. Archaeology has confirmed hundreds of historical references in the Bible. The Bible also reveals hundreds of prophecies. In fact, one fourth of the Bible is prophecy. More than 200 Old Testament prophecies were fulfilled by Jesus Christ, the Messiah. (These were events foretold hundreds of years before Jesus fulfilled them)  Hundreds more prophecies give detailed information about end-time prophetic events, many of which have already occurred or are happening now. I believe in the Bible. The Bible is my history book, above all others. Devine Creation-Evolution- Big Bang? Here’s the bottom line for me: All that scientific research was done by man. The theory of evolution and the big bang theory are just that, “theory”.
